What are the 7 Emirates of the UAE?

The 7 emirates of UAE names are Sharjah, Fujairah, Abu Dhabi, Umm Al Quwain, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and Ajman. These are the states and not the countries.

Surely all the residents of the United Arab Emirates have to know about the 7 emirates of the UAE. And also the foreigners and the people who had a taste of seeking knowledge about the different countries, states, etc. I’ll describe the full name, their currency, flag, location, economy, foundations, and other aspects of these emirates of the UAE.

1. Dubai

Dubai is the greatest state of UAE and it the most populous and is one of the most famous states of the world. It is the most economical and prosperous state of the United Arab Emirates.

In the past, it was famous for fishing, trading, pearling, etc. Now it has importance in every field of life.

Among the 7 Emirates of UAE Dubai is also famous due to business, trade, a lot of jobs for foreigners, sports events, Burj Khalifa, luxurious palm trilogy islands, Burj Al Arab hotel, beautiful beaches, comfortable hotels, architecture, and other many things which are attractive for the people are present in the Dubai.

According to the area, Sharjah is at third number among the UAE states. It is also known as the city of knowledge and shares its border with Dubai.

 




The people think that Sharjah is a dry city because here drinking any kind of drug and alcohol is not allowed until you get a personal license for it. Sharjah is playing a very important role in maintaining the culture of the Arabs.

Why Sharjah is famous?

Sharjah is famous due to tourism, masjids, seas, unique banking system, mountains, and desert, as a business city, as a trade center, and due to the industrial explosion. It almost contains forty-eight % of the total UAE’s industrial production. Sharjah University is a famous university in the UAE.

Due to Beautiful sceneries, landscapes, beach, facilities and other a large number tourist visit there because the here the cost is low.

Abu Dhabi is considered the largest state or emirate of the UAE and also the capital of the UAE. In the past was it was simply a desert place but after the discovery of oil, it gained importance in the world. The tribes residing took wise decisions to invest in the oil field and became rich.

Abu Dhabi is among the world’s richest states which depend upon the oil source.

Why Abu Dhabi is famous?

Abu Dhabi is the capital and the largest emirate.  It is famous due to its cultural traditions, tourism, Yas land, sandy beaches, Sheikh Zayed Mosque, infrastructure, transport, Sheikh Zayed Museum,  health, and good educational system.

It has almost 200000 or more hotels for tourists and luxury apartments. In Golf Championship, Formula One Grand Prix, and Desert Challenges the Abu Dhabi has gained world-class importance.

4. Ajman

Ajman is another state or emirate of the UAE. Other emirates’ people are investing their money in this. As a result, Ajman has occupied 3rd place in the industrial field.

 




The places which attract tourists are Masfout Mountain and its beautiful agricultural system. And it is also a point for trading, fishing, and shipbuilding.

5. Umm Al Quwain

Umm al Quwain is rather small in area but it is a very important emirate due to its fertile land, habitat of the many birds and animals as sea cows, Gazelles, Cormorants, turtles, etc. and the UAE largest water parkDreamland.

Due to its coastline importance, the businessmen are investing their money, so the economy of this Emirates Ids increasing day by day.

6. Fujairah

Between the 7 Emirates of UAE, this is an emirate whose area is almost covered with mountains. Its major income is due to agriculture which is irrigated by the rainwater coming from the marvelous mountains. Some local companies and industries of stone crushing and mining are also working there which are playing a very important role in the constructions. Fujairah has basic importance in sea business because it shares the main international coastline or port with the east. All the companies relating to cattle and livestock are working in the Fujairah due to the agriculture and the farming there.




It is also the best place for tourism because its climate is moderate and good during the summer. And the people belonging to hot countries and emirates visit there to relax.

7. Ras Al Khaimah

RAK stands for “Ras Al Khaimah”. Now Ras Al Khaimah is divided into two parts.

  1. In the old Ras Al Khaimah the educational institution government, hotels, residential areas, and the shopping malls are present.
  2. While in the other part Al Nakheel hospitals, large residential areas, exhibition centers, markets, and houses are also present.

Ras Al Khaimah is also famous for tourism, seaport, fishing, and trading.
